【Abstract】 In the field of secondary school regional geography, regional linkage is one of subjects besides regional characteristics, regional difference, regional development etc. The regional linkage is playing a dominative role in regional geography teaching. To improve the quality of the regional geography teaching, the subjects besides regional linkage couldn’t be ignored. It is necessary to guide geography teaching that regional linkage in teaching materials should be studied. It is beneficial to teachers’learning of teaching materials and to improve pertinence and effectiveness of geography interest cultivation. In this sense, the study of regional linkage has been a major topic in geography teaching.The thesis contains five parts.Chapter one is introduction. The regional linkage is both an important geography research region and a vital part of geography teaching. The teaching research of regional linkage is a basic study of geography teaching. The study of regional linkage in secondary school is weak. And the teaching study of regional linkages has practicality. On the basis of above four aspects, the research ground was stated. The theoretical value and the practical significance of this thesis were both proposed. Research goal, methods and implementation steps in the study were established.Chapter two is research summary. The research status and the teaching situation of regional linkages were discussed according to the references of the topic. The focus of regional linkages and the shortage of teaching were studied.Chapter three is teaching values analysis of regional linkage. It was discussed according to cultivations of regional acknowledges, space concept, comprehensive thinking, man-earth concept and information literacy.Chapter four is classification and discussion of regional linkages. Details of the topic were classified in terms of difference and relationship of regions, the relationship between functional zone and regional combinatorial optimization, and the relationship between local and total. The logic branches of regional linkage were teased.Chapter five is teaching case study. In terms of the national excellent teaching, including "regularity of regional differentiation from coastal to inland", "industrial transfer" and "resources across the region", the case analysis was carried according to the rule and the feasibility of regional linkage teaching. The experience and problem of regional linkage teaching were summarized. And the specific improving suggestions were proposed.The last chapter is conclusion. The research proposes was concluded. And the prospect of subsequent study was put forward, combing current situation.
